July 8, 2008

Where to begin?  Its been over a year since the last little shpiel...so much has happened!  The shop got a full overhaul this winter and now resembles a dentist's office...in a good way, of course.  Very clean, very soothing, very plants and couches to enjoy.  The shuttle was out of commission for a while, but it has recently been revived and is up and running again.  If you need a ride from Drum and back, just give a call and a purple haired girl or redhead will whisk away to your rescue.  We all had fun once the weather warmed up.  There was a stellar dirt ramp out back that people could jump with their vehicles to get a free tattoo.  Oh, don't you worry none - there are videos posted on the site.   Possibly the coolest thing that's happened this year was "Save The Boobs".  We collected money for months to donate towards a breast cancer vaccine.  Mike climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and all of the proceeds went towards the vaccine. You can visit www.climbforhope.com for more info.  So...kudos to Mike and all who donated.  To those who stared blankly at the donation jar before pocketing that twenty five cents you just couldn't live without: shame, shame you cheap fucking bastards.

March 17 2007

Well, we finally updated the web site, alot has changed over the last year or so.  We have added a new tattooing and piercing station, all kinds of new flash, and a whole new approach to helping you figure out your tattoo.  Mike has taken some time off the show circuit and Jim and Scott are doing the traveling now.  Grant is back from Afganastan finally so make sure you all come in and see him.  We have also started a shuttle service.  Anytime you need a ride here just give us a call and we'll come and get ya.  We'll even bring you back.. and it's all FREE.   We won Cleanest Tattoo Studio of the year, again. Just lots of stuff going on, so come on in and hang out with us.

July 22 2006

Ah, rain, such a lovely time of year, great time to get a tattoo, the air isn't too dry, its easier to care for your tatt.  Summers' winding down, which means no more swimming, a good indicator to start that sleeve.

We've got more conventions coming up.  The fourth tattoo/piercing station is operable, and  finished.  Custom pieces are becoming more and more popular each day, this is good, cause custom work means people are trying to be individuals, self expressive people, thats what tattoos are all about.  We've got a huge upcoming jewelry sale, stop in to check that out.  As always donations towards Lindsay Frost's double lung transplant are greatly appreciated, the goal is $35,000, we need help achieving it before that long awaited phone call comes down.

July 3, 2006

It’s been awhile since the last update, so many things have happened in the last six months, oh, where to start.  Conventions, conventions and more conventions.  We picked up some Nu Skool artists along the way.  Matt joined the line-up earlier this year, and more recently, Scott, from Vermont. Both have been getting attention for their visually stimulating designs. Grant has been deployed to the paradise we know as Afghanistan.  Teri, as always keeps us from acting like animals.  Jim isn’t at the shop as much as normal due to his daughter’s medical condition “cystic fibrosis,” and needs a double lung transplant, any donations to help the cause are greatly appreciated, for more information on how you can help, just stop into the shop.  Mike, in his never ending quest to take over the country, takes on at least one convention a month, and then relaxes here in good ol’ upstate New York, to do those realism pieces that have won him countless awards.  Check out our artist galleries we’ve been updating.

Come support our artists’ individual styles: Matt and Scott with their bold outlines, vibrant colors, and use of negative space; Mike’s realistic, and portrait quality pieces; Jim is always eager to try new things that will really set off a tattoo; and OF COURSE Teri with her unique feminine approach that accentuates her delicate style.

December 16, 2005

Well the white shit has started to fall.  So come on in and get something done.  You can also take a peak at the new look in the shop. The shop has been totally renovated from floor to ceiling, inside and out.  A very major change.  Also don't forget to take a look at our up coming events, which are the tattoo conventions that we attend every other month or so in California.  Mike has won 2nd and 3rd place in The International Tattoo Competition in Large Color Tattoo and Realistic Tattoo categories.  If you haven't been to the shop recently, we have been collecting toys for needy children for Christmas.  The collection has just ended and we have an entire truckload of toys!!

September 6 2005

Another month and the website is superupdated this time!! every tattoo artist's page is different so make sure you check out all the new work.  as you can see we also have 2 more artists working in the studio, great people working here finally with no head games or drama.  Finally!!  There is going to be a major surprise in the shop in the next few weeks so make sure you come in and see all the new stuff that is happening.  Also, it's fall again so it's time to come get those larger pieces since the tattoo season is slowing down a bit and we've got time to get larger work done more often.

August 7 2005

Well, alot has happened this summer, a few months back we hired a new artist, Jim.  He will be appearing on the web site very soon.  A great guy, looks scary, really fits in well and adds the scary tattoo guy look back to the shop.  We have seen several new tattoo studios opening up lately and remind everyone to check out our link above on how to choose a tattoo studio.  watch out, there are a ton of shitty people out there that figure they can just find someone to experiment on, don't let it be you!! We are about to revamp the entire studio, so come on in and see the new look that's comming, you'll really go wow... as soon as we figure out what we are going to to do it.....  on a side note, people are lately thinking they can treat tattoo artists like dirt, watch out, we are not taking anyone's shit anymore.  we love our customers, but if you are going to be rude and bad mouth us or other area artists be prepared to get told to "FUCK OFF"  but if you're nice and treat us good then you'll get treated well back.  Society is getting shitty, so do your part to bring courtesy and politeness back to life.

March 21, 2005

With a sadness we are seeing Joe leave the studio as of yesterday.  No explanation or anything, just walked out.  We wish him the best in whatever the future holds for him.  On a brighter note we are really excited about many new changes taking place in the studio now.  With all our new articles in magazines, there is an increase of custom work being done every day with many people coming in from all over the country to get work from Mike, so we guess he finally made the famous list...  Currently he is working in alot of photo realism stuff, come in and check it out.  Other changes in the studio include a much different music theme--no more elevator music!!  Also there is now a greater emphasis on everyone getting the best tattoo possible.  Our theory is that if someone comes in for a tiny rose tattoo, then that tattoo is just as important to her as a tattoo of a portrait someone's father that passed away.  And we are making sure that each person will get the absolute best in either case.  A whole new attitude is going to emerge this year, so if you had any second thoughts before then come in now, you'll be blown away by the courtesy and new customer service we are offering.  Have a great day!!!

February 25, 2005

Well we have finally updated the web site!!!! The tattoo cruise for 2005 is over and we all had a great time on there.  The shop is alot different now than it has been.  We have exploded in our body jewelry department and now have more jewelry than anywhere else in the area combined!!!  Many people have been getting more and more large custom pieces, awesome! Our newest tattoo artist, Teri, is a great addition to our team.  Look for her section on this site coming soon and stop in to get some really great original idea work from her.  We will also be attending more conventions this year, check the show schedule to see the dates of when we will be in your area.  Finally we want to thank all or our customers for giving us the opportunity to do some awesome art.

August 18, 2004

Ok, been forever since an update, i'm not in the mood to write anything more today here, but Joe will be updating this page regularly with all sorts of cool info.. check back soon.  New pictures have been added to Joe's and Mike's section though, enjoy.

March 30, 2004

Well, welcome all back to the updates page, with all the work we have done the web site has fallen way behind.  Since December we have done several conventions still winning awards every time we go!! The Tattoo Cruise that Mike puts on with Lyle Tuttle was a huge success this year.  We educated over 100 artists in new techniques, safe and sterile procedures, and ethics.  Sadely now, Barbara has left us.  Her husband and her moved to Florida after his term in the army was over.  We all miss her and hoping she can't find a job down there so she'll come back up here!!  Finally warm weather so people are coming in and getting cooler tattoos.  Mike has been doing some really wild things with color lately and has exploded in the tattoo world for his artwork.  We think Joe is going to explode one of these days from living at the shop.  He's always there, we think he sleeps under the desk, but we can't prove it yet.  We heard a rumor he went fishing in the snow the other day.. strange these fishermen are.  A great thing we have discovered is having guest artists.  We have had 2 so far: Sara Archambault from Maine, and Lee from England.  We would love to have more guest artists, so if anyone would ever like to come tattoo with us for a week or two just drop us a line and let us know.

December 3, 2003

A lot has been going on in the studio lately, it's been a very busy summer and fall and we've fallen far behind on updates, so just to sum it all up... we went to a few conventions, won a few awards, it's snowing again, its cold again, and the Caribbean is looking more and more inviting everyday!!  as far as the web site, many new tattoos on mike's pages, and the piercing pages are all new too. that's it today, short and sweet, come in and visit and enjoy the snow that's here with more to come!!

July 7, 2003

Well, it's been a long long time since we've had time to write here, so there is quite a bit of news.  First and most recently, Terry, our new artist from Texas won awards for Best Small Color tattoo at the Boston Tattoo Convention.  Joe won an award for Color Tattoo at another convention in New Hampshire!! Barbara has been putting out some incredible work lately and keeps stunning us with new ideas everyday.  Mike has taken a dramatic turn as well, he has changed his style to doing almost all custom work and since that change he has been booked solid non stop! So looks like things are really taking off, if you want an appointment with Mike for this type of tattooing come in and talk with him.  We have also changed the reception staff around a bit to try to get people that will be more helpful and polite. customer service has become a priority for you guys out there. All new artwork on the walls lately too, we have really made some huge changes for you guys, come in and visit and see everything

March 4, 2003

A lot has been going on lately, first of all, Todd has left our studio, no word or anything, he just walked off one day in a great mood and left, no idea what happened there except he sure left everyone short handed and made a lot of people angry at him at the Mardi Gras Tattoo Cruise where he was scheduled to give a seminar.. great way to start his reputation by being a "no show".  But the cruise did go over wonderfully even with his absence. Mike and Lyle Tuttle gave an incredible time for all!!  A huge success, the Tattoo Cruise is already set up for 2004.  www.tattoocruise.com  On the cruise, Mike was also approached by Terry Head.  A wonderful artist from Dallas Texas, terry will be joining the Tattoos Forever family very soon. Check the website for his portfolio coming soon.  Everything else is going great back at the studio, sorry to all that can't get their tattoos as quick as they wanted, but we have been very very busy, and thank you to all those who kept us so busy!! And good luck to Todd in his career wherever he is.

December 6, 2002

Holy Shit, it's fucking cold now!!! Two and a half fucking feet of snow and more on the way tonight.. uggg!!  Thank goodness the Mardi Gras Tattoo Cruise is comming up. I think the snow has frozen the brains of some of the girls here though, we've gone through 3 shop girls since the last update. Finally found Melissa who was an Olympic hopeful figure skater!! pretty neat.  So as you sit there in your warm house reading this, remember that it is warm in here too.

November 8, 2002

Well this is what has been going on, both Mike and Todd have gone to a couple of conventions bringing back another two first place awards for best leg tattoo. Things are starting to pick up so for those of you who have the next piece in mind don't wait to book your appointments. We have also added another new shop girl, Alexandria.  We have also been getting swamped by calls from around the world inviting us to new conventions, so look for us in your part of the planet!!  Have a groovy day

October 15, 2002

Mike and Todd have returned from the show circuit again, attending Mario Barth's "biggest tattoo show on earth" and Paul Booth's "Massachusetts tattoo arts festival."  They had a great time and Mike almost won the Tattoo of the day award at Mario's show, only to be narrowly defeated by Manu..not a bad man to lose to...  Our wonderful shop girl Kelly was photographed for the cover of Tattoo Magazine--look for her on an upcoming issue.  Great times all around, and big praise to Mario Barth and Paul Booth for a truly wonderful show.  Not much more to tell until the next convention the first weekend in November, contact us ahead of time as our appointment schedule for this show is filling up fast.

September 14, 2002

What a busy summer!!  No time for rest here, hence the long gap between updates, sorry there.  Our wonderful shop girl Crystal is back, tormenting Mike and running wild all over.  Getting ready for the fall convention season is our new objective with the New York show and Paul Booth's Mass. show. Both of which we are showing some great new pieces to bring home awards with.  The long awaited Mardi Gras Tattoo Cruise put on by Mike and the Legendary Lyle Tuttle is comming closer and looking to be a huge success.  On a sad note we see more and more poorly done tattoos comming into the shop from people that are price shopping and going other places trying to save a few bucks.  We have found that to be the most stupid way to choose a tattoo, come on people, get a brain, don't price shop or something you have to wear forever.. remember, you get what you pay for!!  Well, have fun out there, we look forward to seeing you all soon.

July 26, 2002

Well, time again for that long awaited update.  Not a lot of new things going on with us lately.. just doing a bunch of killer tattoo ideas for all of ya. We've seen a few of our pictures in some of the new tattoo magazines and the convention we are organizing is going great!! So Mike is really making a name for himself in the tattoo industry quickly becoming well known worldwide.  More and more people are searching out Todd for larger pieces as well.  Something that is surprising us is the great number of people traveling to our studio from all over New England. We have a great following in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and a lot of people find it well worth the drive to get some of the best work on the upper East coast.  On a personal note, we are sick to death of stupid people that price shop for tattoos or have no concern for their own health and safety.. so we have added a section to our site about how to pick a tattoo studio  click here HOW TO CHOOSE A TATTOO STUDIO

June 14, 2002

Another great accomplishment for Mike-- at our most recent convention (Man's Ruin in Decatur IL), Mike was made a judge in the tattoo competition.  For those of you that don't know about conventions, here's how that works and why it's special.  At conventions the best artists from around the world come together to work, exchange ideas and compete for trophies and recognition.  These are the top artists in the world who attend, you have to be really really awesome to get an invitation---and to toot our own horn, you don't see the other shops in the area attending these shows, do you?? he hee--- well, back to the show, now Mike is a judge for the competitions.  So not only is he considered one of the best in the world, now he is judging the best artists out there--pretty snazzy huh?

June 3, 2002

Well, here we are again, another ranting about what we are up to.  Finally got a page set up so you can all see some of Joe's work, so maybe he'll whine a little less about it now....  Todd and Mike are off to another convention this comming weekend just outside of Chicago.  After that one we have decided to take a bit of a break from conventions and devote the summer to our local clients, so there ya go.  The summer is going great and we are extremely busy, so if you are frustrated that you can't get in for your tattoo on the same day, we sympathize, but the demand for our art is just more than we have time for.. so we hate to make you wait, but we are sure you all understand.   To put it bluntly, it's easy to walk into a shitty tattoo shop and get your tattoo right away, lots of em out there, but if you have to wait a few days to get a spot with us it just proves how much better we are than the competition.. SO THERE!!!

comming soon.. a page of all the things that piss us off.. he he he ehe

April 23, 2002

The long awaited update is finally here!!  We have been very very busy at the new location and we thank all of you for your continued support.  We thought the summer was here, but alas. that damn white shit again.. uggg!!  Our next convention isn't until June, so lots of time to get work done these days.  After that one we're gonna be around til after summer, devoting our whole summer to you guys.  Welcome back to all the soldiers by the way!! We're proud of you!!

We are still in search of receptionists, so if you want a fun wild job working in our studio come by and fill out an application.

February 2, 2002

We're finally open in our new studio!! It's so awesome!! We've gotten a great response from everyone that comes in.  Again, we're setting new standards with the level of cleanliness and we are proud to be doing it for you!!  We were so busy on opening day that we wanted to go get one of those "take a number things" so we just want to say THANK YOU to everyone out there that comes in and gets work done or simply visits... THANK YOU ALL.  We're looking forward to a great time in our new studio. See ya all soon.

January 27, 2002

The word is out, it's official, we're moving to our new studio on Feb 1st!!  The new studio is located just outside Ft. Drum North Gate on Rt. 11 next to Mail Boxes Etc. just across the road from stewert's gas station.  This new studio is the biggest and most modern studio that we know of!! We started building from the ground up in the summer and we guarantee you will not find a cleaner studio anywhere around!!!!  We have adopted many new technologies with this studio and can't wait to get in there and experience it for ourselves too!!  Needless to say we're really excited, so come in on Feb 1st for our grand opening weekend filled with special deals to thank all of you.  Other news.. we returned from our convention in Schnectady, NY winning awards for best portrait, and most unusual tattoo.  We are also accepting applicants for 2 positions as tattoo artists, we will also consider training the right person, please apply in person with portfolio

January 12, 2002

Well, another year, now it's 2002 and we're still alive here.  Alot of changes in the studio this month so far, we have brought onboard a new artist from California, Joe.  Also we've brought in 2 new shop girls, make sure you come in and give them a hard time, they need to see what they are truly in for.  Todd and Mike are off to another convention January 18, 19, and 20 in Scenectady, NY.  We are also accepting and reviewing applicants for an apprenticeship position in tattooing.  If you have art ability and are highly motivated come see mike in person, or email if you are out of the area.  We also have 2 new positions for shop girls which will open up in about 2 weeks.  That's about all this time, check back for info after the convention.

December 28, 2001

Another month past, Mike has returned from Europe spending more than 2 weeks traveling with Lyle Tuttle, Brian Everett, and Paul Booth!! Work was a huge success there and it looks like we'll be going back again soon.  Back home Todd has found great satisfaction working on more and more realism portrait tattoos of both people and animals.  We've got a huge secret that will be revealed soon, and trust us, it's huge and you will all love it!!  This week we also got in some great new artwork so be sure and stop in and see it hanging on the walls. Christmas went well for everyone, hope the same is true for all of you, have a great new year and see ya soon.

November 25, 2001

Well, hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.  This is Mike's last week before he goes off to start his European tour.. the official tour is Berlin, Gratz, Prague, Vienna, and Blummeu, then back to the United States returning on December 17th.  Have no fear though, Todd and Cyndi will be offering killer deals for the Christmas season all of December.  Today, November 25, Cyndi has been featured in an article for The Albany Times about tattooing and Body piercing!!!   More and more people are coming in and reserving time for very large pieces, we only have a limited amount of slots left available  for full backs and other very large tattoos so please come in and book your space as soon as possible.. have fun and happy winter

November 12, 2001

we're back from our latest convention now.  It was the Gem City Body Art Expo, Dayton OH.  Was a really nice show, but people in Ohio don't eat after midnight!!!!  We won awards for the best small tattoo on a male, and the best medium tattoo on a female!! Met a lot of great people too.  Next show is in Berlin, Germany and we are looking for someone to go with us to help run the booth. we pay all expenses, all you have to do is pay your own air fare.. about $500, we pay for hotel and food.  call mike for details about it

October 23, 2001

well here it is, our new updates page, this will tell all you wonderful tattoo and piercing fans what we are planning and what we have done!!

This week we've added a new shop girl, Emily.  We are again open at 9am each day except Thursday, so more opportunity to get your stuff done!!

This weekend is our Halloween party at THE EDGE.  It's a great party with wet t-shirt contests, tattoo, and costume contests!!  October 27th, come say hi.

We just got notification from Skin & Ink publications that we will be featured in one of their magazines!! Check back for more info on this.

As fall arrives we are getting busier and busier so we welcome you all to come in and make your appointments.... remember, winter is right around the corner, this is the perfect time to start on that large back piece, sleeve, or leg piece so it can be fully healed for you to show it off in the spring!!
